Sunday Ritual: Violin Classes

As a young adult, we are expected to be successful, look fabulous, take trips, get married, blah, blah, blah. But what really triggers me is that what about our suppressed ambitions and dreams? What about the shiny keychain we wanted to buy with our first salary, the concert we always wanted to desperately attend, the series of books we always wanted to stack up for our library collection.

Let no Duchess dictate what you can and cannot do.

It started off on a rebellious note with me as well. I was fearful of what people might think seeing a 20 something taking music classes with kids much below my age. But thanks to my boldness and Taylor Swift’s advice I took my chances and signed up for the classes at my Church hall.

At the start I was doing well but then I learnt what I was lacking, what needed improvement, what are my strengths and weaknesses. I was a good violinist back when I had started and now it was a gap of almost 3 years. But I picked up the pace and am doing well. My dream is to play for the church choir.

Manifesting at least 1 church choir before the end of 2024.
