Someone wise and thoughtful once said, “Happiness is a small cozy café.” I would rather not think otherwise.

In the times of lavish hotels and fancy exotic restaurants a café is yet considered an ideal place for people coming from various backgrounds. Be it a tiring day from work or catching up with a long-lost friend who is currently in town- a café is an ideal place to be. The time spent in cafes with our friends, gossiping, chatting or completing group assignments seems to fly every time.
While others choose group plans, I prefer cafes as my escape space. The comfort and calm sitting by a coffee table with my book or laptop with a warm cup of coffee and a cheesy ham sandwich is a pleasure. Oh the bliss!! Trust me, cafes help me observe the surroundings, the ambience of the café, the behavior of people and the customers visiting the café. Observing human behaviour is something I enjoy personally because it helps me to gets ideas for my writing. I am a professional over-thinker and that leads me to imagine different scenarios to a particular situation, what would I do if the waiter would take time to take my order, what if I wanted to switch my seat with the person sitting on the next, how would I start a conversation with the cute barista at the counter. The list goes on and on.
The most beautiful part of being at a café is the opportunity to network with strangers, getting to know that someone you met has the same taste in coffee as you do or maybe just exchange a glance (and if its not too much to ask) and a smile with the cute guy sitting across the room.
Cafes are budget friendly and a place to have small meals which are quality and filling. So maybe the next time you wish to take a break from the mundane routine and wish to get a fresh perspective for writing your next blog- you know where to go..
